Healthy Estuaries 2111 Forum

Healthy Estuaries 2111 is an all day forum being held at the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Wednesday 24th October. This forum seeks "to share values and identify a common vision for the estuaries of South West Australia".

‘Oceans Past IV: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on the History and Future of Marine Animal Populations’, is the fourth conference in the Oceans Past series organised by the History of Marine Animal Populations (HMAP) initiative, the historical component of the first Census of Marine Life (CoML).
The conference will be held at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle, from Wednesday 7th to Friday 9th November 2012. The keynote speakers are Dr Meryl Williams (Chair of the Commission for International Agricultural Research); Dr Andrea Sáenz-Arroyo (Director of Science at Comunidad y Biodiversidad A.C., Mexico, and Pew Marine Fellow, 2011), and Professor John Pandolfi (Professor in Palaeoecology and Marine Studies, University of Queensland).
