Associate Professor Bruce Walker

Back pain, manual therapies and indigenous health

Associate Professor Bruce Walker is the Head of Discipline for Chiropractic and the Associate Dean of Research in the School of Health Professions.

His research interests include spinal pain, manual therapies, adverse events from spinal manipulation, Indigenous health, and evidence-based practice.

Associate Professor Walker is a national executive member of the Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia (COCA), a member of the Australian Epidemiological Association, the Spine Society of Australia and the National Network of Spine Scientists. He is currently Editor-in-Chief to the journal of Chiropractic & Manual Therapies and a member of the Human Research Ethics Committee at Murdoch University.
