Class Description
BODYPUMP BODYPUMP will change the shape of your body. The worlds biggest exercise participation program using adjustable weights to increase your strength and tone your muscles, all in a friendly environment and set to great music. All welcome!
RPM™ RPM™ is the indoor cycling workout where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team coach who leads the pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training. Discover your athlete within – sweat and burn to reach your endorphin high. Like all the LES MILLS™ programs, a new RPM™ class is released every three months with new music and choreography.
GRIT Strength™ GRIT Strength™ This high intensity interval training will keep calories burning for hours longer than with traditional training. Varied, short, sharp workouts, with the power of personal training, & motivation of a team for best results. Explosive music to drive more out of each individual workout, with use of weights and body-weight moves. For experienced BodyPUMPer's &/or those with some gym experience.
ZUMBA Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That's exactly what the Zumba® program is all about. It's an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party that's moving millions of people toward joy and health.
CXWORX Lose inches from your waistline in only 30minutes! Using all the muscles in your torso, from shoulders, down to your hips, this powerful workout packs an intense abdominal workout using resist-a-band, small weight & floorwork. Set to some seriously motivating tunes. Not recommended for pregnant women.
HIIT Make a serious impact on your shape, & strength. This High Intensity Interval Training is 30mins of short, sharp bursts of efforts using plyometrics, cardio sprints & body weight exercises. It's seriously results-oriented, for all-fitness-levels. You work with the instructor, the class & clock: come dressed ready-to-sweat, leave with a smile & feeling empowered.
PILATES This class involves working the body's muscles in a smooth and flowing manner. It works towards building a strong, centre posture while concentrating on good breathing patterns and a strong mental focus. Gradual progressions are introduced but control is never sacrificed. With this control, postural habits will improve and joint stresses will decrease. Everyday activities such as walking and sitting become more relaxed, graceful and energy efficient.
YOGA These Hatha and Vinyasa classes begin with a self–centering warm up followed by a variety of poses in creative sequences to help the body balance, cleanse and purify. With a strong focus on uniting mind, body and breath, poses are held to maximise length & strength in the body and mind, and leave you feeling blissfully refreshed.
YIN YOGA Yin yoga focuses on relaxing the body in a variety of seated or laying down postures, and holding each pose for several minutes whilst paying attention to breath. This slow-paced, passive approach to deeply release fascia will leave you feeling ready to sleep. Very beneficial for tight bodies and wired minds.
TAI- CHI Tai Chi Chun originated as a martial art but was disguised and popularised by Yang Cheng Fu as a sport and health art in the early twentieth century. It is a set of continuous, slow, apparently effortless movements aptly described as 'meditation in motion'. Expect to feel a little breathless, with a slightly raised heartbeat, but feel calm, refreshed and invigorated at the end.
