Dr Jeffrey Wilson

Jeffrey Wilson is a Fellow of the Asia Research Centre and Lecturer in Politics and International Studies in the School of Management and Governance, Murdoch University. He received his Bachelor of Economics and Social Sciences (Hons) from the University of Sydney, and his PhD in International Relations from the Australian National University. His research interests include international political economy, the role of corporate actors in global economic governance, and international resource politics in the Asia-Pacific region.
Jeffrey was awarded the University of Sydney Medal in 2006, and was the inaugural recipient of the Boyer Prize from the Australian Institute of International Affairs in 2012. He has published widely on the political economy of resource security in Asia, and is the author of Governing Global Production: Resource Networks in the Asia-Pacific Steel Industry (Basingstoke: Palgrave Macmillan, 2013).
