Shark Wars – Your chance to be part of this documentary

Amanda Elizabeth BSc (MasterClass Alumni and Director of Turquoise Ocean Pty Ltd) is a marine scientist who is producing her first full length documentary on shark conservation.

The story will follow her personal journey as she explores past, current, and future developments relating to shark drum lines and nets and the effect they have on shark populations. She explores the alternatives to such methods, many of which are being developed here in WA, including:

  • Bob Lushey's Radiator wet suits
  • Clever Buoys by Optus in conjunction with Craig Anderson and Hamish Jolly
  • Craig Moss' Eco Shark Barrier

Turquoise Ocean launched their crowd source funding page on to last Saturday the 14th of February, with this Amanda hopes to raise enough funds so that a trailer can be produced and commissioned by a broadcaster so that filming of the full documentary can begin.

The winner will become an extra in the documentary with the opportunity to get up close and personal with sharks in the wild from the comfort of our boat. Full catering for the day will be provided. See our website for full terms and conditions.
