Pre-law Program

The Murdoch University School of Law runs a Pre-law night course which provides an admission pathway to our Bachelor of Law. The Kulbardi Aboriginal Centre funds two positions annually for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to participate in the Pre-Law program. This scholarship is for students in financial or personal hardship, who can demonstrate competence and a desire to succeed in a demanding course.

For more information please visit School of Law website.

Waardong is an admission pathway for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students into a range of science degrees at Murdoch University. Run by the School of Veterinary and Life Sciences, Waardong provides academic, social and cultural support for Indigenous students enrolled in Veterinary Science or, as approved by the relevant Academic Chair, other participating Health Science courses. Please contact Jordin Godula to see if this may be an option for you.

For more information please visit the Murdoch Handbook.

A Certificate IV* will make you eligible for admission into most of Murdoch University courses, whilst a Diploma or Advanced Diploma* may make you eligible for admission with up to one year’s Advanced Standing. We also take life experience into consideration at Murdoch, so you could also be considered for admission if you have a Trade Certificate and have worked in this trade. However, we do recommend K-Track as the preferred method of entry if you're unsure about your academic abilities.

* Excludes direct entry into Chiropractic Science, Law, Psychology Honours or Veterinary Science.
