High School Entry Scholarships

Murdoch University has a range of Entry Scholarships which are coordinated by the Prospective Students’ and Admissions Centre. Details on all entry scholarships are provided to high schools each year. In order to receive an Entry Scholarship you will need to be nominated by your high school, unless you are apply to a Media course using a portfolio.

TEE Entry Scholarships - boosts your rank by 5 points
WSA Entry Scholarships - makes you eligible for admission to Murdoch
Dean’s Entry Scholarship - guaranteed admission for high achievers
Director of Admissions Entry Scholarship – Principal’s choice award
Media Portfolio Entry - portfolio admission to Media Courses

The closing date for nominations for Semester 1 2009 is 17 October 2008 although we will accept late applications.

Financial scholarships

We are pleased to offer a number of scholarship opportunities, some are linked to specific courses and study areas while others are based on location or individual circumstances. For further information about our undergraduate scholarships select from the following:

  • Individual circumstances: including assistance for students from low socio-economic backgrounds or suffering financial hardship
  • Course or study area specific: open to students studying a particular course or area of study
  • Location based: primarily offered to students living and studying within the Peel, Rockingham  and the surrounding area. Some rural accommodation scholarships are also available.
