Checklist for applications
Please ensure that the following is included and has been taken into consideration when sending student applications to Murdoch University.
All Application Forms
• Are the correct forms filled out completely?
• Is the name of the program of study filled in correctly? (Bachelor/Master/Study Abroad etc)
• Does the student meet the published entry requirements?
• Does the student meet the published English requirements?
• Is the campus preference correctly filled out?
• Is the application signed by the prospective student?
Postgraduate Applications
• Are ALL relevant sections of the form filled out?
• Has the student provided a personal statement if one is required with the application?
• Has the student asked two referees to fill out the Referee Report Template and submit it separately to the application? (if Referee Reports are necessary with the application)
• Has the student signed the declaration?
• Is a resume included? (if necessary with the application)
Study Abroad Applications
• Has the student listed enough units?
• Are there any pre-requisites for the subjects listed?
If so, the student must enclose course descriptions of previous studies.
Attachments
• Are there certified copies of all matriculation qualifications?
• Are there certified copies of all tertiary qualifications? (if applicable)
• Are all certificates/transcripts in English? (or certified translated copies)
• Are they all certified and true copies?
