Campus life

Murdoch’s main campus, South Street, is 11 minutes from the Perth City Centre by train and a short connecting bus trip or walk. We also have campuses in Rockingham and Mandurah and International Study Centres in Singapore, Malaysia, Japan and Dubai.

Murdoch is home to 18,000 students and 1,400 staff – and where around 3,000 overseas students from 100 countries have chosen to further their education.

University life is not just about learning; it’s also about making friends, exploring new interests and, well, having fun. Murdoch not only has Australia’s biggest campus, it also has a very active Student Guild and dozens of clubs and societies you can join.

A few of the more active clubs and associations are listed below, but for a full list visit the Student Guild:

  • Murdoch International Students Association
  • The Singapore Link
  • Malaysian Student's Association
  • Murdoch University Muslim Student's Association

Student life on campus is vibrant. Murdoch students enjoy a fully-equipped gymnasium on campus, squash courts and playing fields, a 24-hour open library, tavern, travel agent, two banks, Guild Shop and a number of cafes.
