Accepting your Offer at Murdoch University
It is important to read your offer letter carefully and check that all details are correct.
You either have an offer letter or a conditional offer letter.
Conditional Offer
If you have a conditional offer letter, you are required to meet the conditions stated on your offer letter. You will not be issued with an unconditional offer until you have met the conditions of your offer. Do not pay any fees until you have been issued with a confirmed offer. Details for payment of fees and the deadline for acceptance will be included in the confirmed offer.
Offer Letter
To accept your offer:
Before you accept your offer please ensure you have read and understood the Acceptance of Offer and Contract with Murdoch University.
To formally accept your offer you are required to:
- pay 50% of your annual tuition fees
- pay 50% of the Student Services and Amenities Fees
- pay OSHC* for the duration of your Student Visa.
- provide details of your Payment (receipt of payment)
- return a signed copy of your Acceptance Contract
- return a signed copy of your Advanced Standing Assessment (if applicable)
- Attach a copy of your passport (if available)
Payment options are indicated on the Acceptance Information attached to your offer letter.
Please quote your name and student ID number when sending funds by bank transfer and provide a copy of the remittance advice to us so the funds can be matched with your student number. The Australian bank may charge a processing fee – this is deducted from the funds received by Murdoch and the shortfall can be paid once you have arrived on campus. We have no control over this charge.
*Please note: Single OSHC is quoted on your offer letter. If you require Family OSHC please advise if you require Dual Family or Multi Family cover.
Single – Covering only the overseas student; or
Dual family – covering the overseas student, and either one adult spouse or recognised de facto partner or one or more children or step-children under the age of 18 years who are not married; or
Multi family – covering the overseas student and more than one dependant, which can only include one adult spouse or recognised de facto partner and one or more dependant children.
