Entry Awards: another pathway to study at Murdoch
We offer a range of pathways for you to get to study at Murdoch – including entry scholarships for high school leavers. If you get nominated by your school for one of our entry scholarships, you could receive what’s essentially a “free pass” to study at Murdoch.
You might be eligible for one of these entry scholarships:
- Dean’s Entry Awards – this can give you a guaranteed place in a selected course at Murdoch if you are a high achieving ATAR student.
- Director of Admissions Entry Awards – you can be guaranteed a place in a selected course at Murdoch if you are ATAR or eligible non-ATAR student.
Interested in studying a Media course?
If you’re interested in studying a course from within Media, Communication and Culture another way to boost your chances of admission is to submit a portfolio of your related work. It’s called Media Portfolio Entry. Visit the Media portfolio entry pathway for more details and a list of courses.
Find out more about our Entry Awards
To be awarded an entry award, you need to be nominated by your school, so be sure to let your school’s career counsellor know that you’re interested. If you’re in Year 12 and applying to study in Semester One, your school has until the end of November to nominate you for a place at Murdoch.
If you’re interested in boosting your chances of getting into Murdoch through an entry scholarship or Media Portfolio Entry, speak to your school’s Careers Counsellor, or call us on 1300 MURDOCH (1300 687 3624).
