Strategic destination planning for sustainable tourism
This undergraduate unit has been designed as a practical exercise in tourism destination management utilizing the technique of project management to undertake strategic planning.
The objective of the projects below involved the management of tourism impacts in and on a destination. This leads naturally to strategic planning and a forward looking, critical approach to tourism development and management in the context of sustainable development and the 'triple bottom line'.
