Meet Dr. Tania Urmee
Lecturer, Energy Studies
"I love teaching here in energy studies because I believe this is the best way to build awareness among all to reduce the greenhouse footprint.
In this world, very few areas are electrified. To bring solution for this energy crisis, there is a need for the commercial deployment of low greenhouse gas technologies. It is recognized that the absence of suitable policy is the key barrier to this development.
So I would like to devote myself in this area and share the first hand experience of working in the renewable energy electrification with my students.
I want my students to think and care about the environment."
