Psychology with Honours (BPsych(Hons))

Our course will help you understand abnormal, developmental, social, cognitive, learning and perceptual processes and develop a thorough and balanced view of the general theoretical and disciplinary aspects involved in practising psychology.

You will also get to work in real-life research settings as part of your final year, a hands-on training experience that will provide you with experience to build your confidence and project you forward after graduation.

Create a course that suits you and your chosen career direction

Add a minor to your degree to maximise your career potential. This is especially useful if you dont plan on becoming a practicing psychologist. Minors in developmental, health, organisational and social psychology and elective units in psychological research are particularly recommended.

On completing your degree you will gain accreditation with the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) and recognition by the Australian Psychological Society (APS).

You can also progress to postgraduate studies in clinical, organisational and counselling psychology.
