Professor Simone Volet

Professor Volet is indeed a true discoverer.

Her reputation as one of Murdoch’s leading researchers and significant international scholar has recently led to the funding of two Australian Research Council Discovery projects.

The first focuses on the development of group based learning in Australian universities in answer to what is required of graduates in the real world. This includes the motivational and social dynamics of group learning.

The second research area hones in on developing intercultural confidence through social cohesion on multicultural campuses and the internationalisation of higher education curricula.

Professor Volet has recently co-edited a book on advanced learning and published numerous articles in international and national journals. She currently serves on a range of international and national scientific research advisory boards.
