Professor Barry Down
For Professor Barry Down, secondary school teaching was merely the beginning of a passion for the world of teaching.
Professor Down is a leading national and emerging international researcher in teacher development. His research interests lie in the areas of critical policy ethnography, teachers' work, school reform, critical pedagogy, socially-just schooling and revisionist educational history.
