Dr Anne Price is certainly keeping herself busy in the teaching world.

As Deputy Program Chair and Academic Coordinator of Primary School Experience, Dr Price coordinates Curriculum Development for Practitioners and Professional Issues in Teaching.

Her vast experience working in remote indigenous and multicultural communities has led to strong views on the way language and broader ideological power structures reproduce educational inequality.

While Dr Price’s research delves deeply into this area, she also investigates the challenges facing modern educators in light of changing work patterns, demographics and cultural practices.

A recent project involves assisting north-west education workers to become fully qualified Early Childhood and Primary teachers so they can enhance the numeracy and literacy outcomes in these remote communities.
