Master of Arts in Ecological Sustainable Development

Learn the skills you need to make a real difference to sustainable development policy.

Learn what shapes sustainability policy

As the world's focus shifts towards a more sustainable future, new approaches to policy are emerging in areas such as energy, industry, household, agriculture and fisheries.

You'll be able to choose units from three areas:
  • Environmental management and policy
  • Sociocultural issues and policy
  • Institutional/policy processes

You will also undertake a project or dissertation where you can explore an area you're really passionate about.

Further your career in sustainability

You will learn to interpret Ecological Sustainable Development issues and apply them to work in government, business and civil society. This course is particularly valuable if you're already working in environmental policy and management, local sustainability issues and international development.
