"Like all our teachers in journalism, I try to impart my professional knowledge and skills acquired from working in newsrooms. But we know that’s not enough for graduates who will be facing tough competition for work in the media.

"They need the passion to seek out stories and not take anything or anyone for granted. We have created an environment where students’ energy and curiosity are developed parallel with their critical thinking, world knowledge and sense of right and wrong.
