What our students are doing now…
There are a number of successful Interactive Digital Design graduates now working in the Perth design scene which reflects the fact that there is a strong Murdoch network within the industry.
These strong industry relationships create an incredibly useful framework for prospective and graduating students; which in turn is also proving helpful for graduates who wish to work overseas.
We also have a growing number of international, Interactive Digital Design graduates who have since returned home to start successful design careers.

Jacob Kamile - iPhone and iPod Touch Development
Jacob Kamile is now enjoying the commercial success of his iPhone application "HiKaChan Hiragana", which was originally developed as a final year project to help other students learn Japanese.

Paul Spencer - Guardian Comics Series
Paul Spencer has been working hard getting his online comic series published into paper and is now selling them through his website.
Paul is also doing some freelance design and illustration work for clients.

Amanda Kerr - Online Manager for Purple Communications and winner of the Vice Chancellor’s award for academic excellence
Amanda Kerr – (a Multimedia student who won the Vice Chancellor’s award for academic excellence two years in a row), is now an Online Manager for Purple Communications, a public relations firm.

Maeve Lander who also worked freelancing web design as a student is now a production coordinator for the web development company Webarena.

Larissa Weisse co-founded a web design company called Kuraman Creative and is now a senior web designer.

Martin Freer a 2006 graduate now works for Curtin University as a web designer and was part of a team that won a finalist spot in the 2008 WA Web Awards.

Ricki Barnes now works for advertising and branding firm Lateral Aspect.

Steven Langton a 2006 graduate now does 3D visualisations for local multimedia production company Cell Media.

Andrew Buckley - 3D Visualisations and winner of the Vice Chancellor’s commendation for excellence
Andrew Buckley a 2007 graduate and recipient of the 2007 Vice Chancellor’s commendation for excellence now works in a range of multimedia industries. Andrew currently works for local animation/multimedia company 3D Millipede doing 3D visualisations. At the same time Andrew is also working on an interactive CD for the West Australian Department of Corrections and is currently part of team of animators and producers putting together an animation pilot for Nickelodeon.

Mevin Chellemben an international student and 2006 graduate now works for LightWorx Communication in Mauritius, doing 3D architectural visualisation.

Ryan Albery works for Perth based Lateral Aspect doing 3D animations and web design. In the past Ryan has worked for the Malaysian television station FTA TV completing an animated TV series “Stryker”.
