Honours in Animal Health (BSc(Hons))

The aim of the Honours year is to extend the student's grasp of the principles and practice of their subject, to develop ability for independent research, and to facilitate their entry into industry employment.

A wide range of disciplines are available for study in the context of animal production science, including anatomy, aquaculture, bacteriology, biochemistry, biosecurity, embryology, epidemiology, food quality, histology, immunology, nutrition, parasitology, pathology, pharmacology, physiology, toxicology, and virology.

An Honours qualification of at least 2A is normally required for admission to higher research degree study.
