Graduate Diploma in Water Treatment and Desalination (GradDipWatTrmt)

The Graduate Diploma in Water Treatment and Desalination will provide the professional working in the water industry with the basic engineering and science education to support entry-level understanding, design, operation, and monitoring of conventional potable water and wastewater (sewage) treatment processes, as well as many of the more specific water treatment processes allied with industry, agriculture, mining, and public services needs.

It is well suited to the professional wishing to upgrade skills for career advancement or to satisfy continuing education requirements. It will also provide the graduate with the requisite coursework to undertake subsequent higher graduate degree courses.

The course is a self-contained program or may be taken as year 1 of a two-year program of study leading to a Master of Water Treatment and Desalination.
