Entry requirements

Recognised and appropriate Bachelor’s degree or higher. For Primary teacher education students, a wide range of undergraduate degrees are acceptable.

Not all required units for this course are offered externally. Intensive sessions on campus or in Perth metropolitan schools are expected within this degree. If you are an interstate applicant, you should expect to complete units on campus or in a Perth metropolitan school as part of your studies.

English language requirements

In order to gain admission to Murdoch University, students must satisfy Murdoch University English requirements by demonstrating competency in the English Language.

A recognised Bachelor’s degree, usually requiring at least three years of full-time study or its equivalent, or higher, or satisfactory preparation through a combination of previous study and work experience, as determined by the Academic Chair.

For Primary teacher education students, a wide range of undergraduate degrees is appropriate: for Secondary teacher education students the degree must be relevant to one of Murdoch’s teaching areas.

English proficiency

In order to gain admission to Murdoch University, students must satisfy Murdoch University English requirements by demonstrating competency in the English Language.
