Rehabilitation Centre

Our generous (160m2) well-equipped rehabilitation centre houses a diverse selection of physical rehabilitation equipment, including strength training and conditioning equipment which can help patients progress into the Active Care component of their tailored management plan sooner.
The hands-on nature of the Centre helps student develop the skills and knowledge they need to grasp the key principles of rehabilitation for the NeuroMusculo-Skeletal (NMS) system, as well as teaching them how to evaluate and prescribe exercises for the rehabilitation of a variety of injuries and dysfunctions.
Equipment includes: treadmills, stationary ergometers (for upper and lower limbs), a strength multisystem (for squats and pull-downs), rowers, dumb-bells/bar-bells, medicine balls, disco-sits, wobble boards, foam rolls, gymnastic balls, a hip machine, roman chairs, agility ladders and an Olympic lifting platform.
It also offers computerised foot assessments using the Gaitscan and Footleveller’s systems.
