Dylan's story
Dylan graduated from Murdoch with a Bachelor in Asian Studies and Politics and a Master of Arts in Public Policy. Dylan speaks Bahasa Indonesia fluently as a result of spending a year in Indonesia as part of his degree.
He is now the Manager of the South/South East Asia Desk in the WA Dept of Industry and Resources. Dylan’s roles include:

Working closely with the Australia Indonesia Business Council, Australia Malaysia Business Council, Australia Vietnam Business Council, and Australia India Chamber of Commerce, and developing initiatives to assist member companies gain access to overseas markets within the region.

Providing country and market profiles and information for the South/South East Asian region.

Conducting preliminary market research for industry.

Formulating appropriate programs for in-bound delegations coming to WA from the region.

Organising Ministerial Trade Missions to the South/South East Asian region.

Providing preliminary advice on markets for new companies wanting to export to the region and introducing new exporters to the West Australian Trade Offices (WATO) in India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Thailand.

Presenting cultural information on doing business in the region to interested companies.
