The counselling team have extensive experience and skills in helping people with a wide range of personal, psychological and study related issues.

The service is confidential and free to enrolled students.

What do we do

We aim to help students to build resilience throughout their university degree and help them to reach their goals. Sometimes personal issues can get in the way of reaching your goals, and at those times, we are here to help.

We provide information and support about a range of study and personal issues such as:

  • Dealing with procrastination
  • Managing exams with less stress
  • Managing your emotions
  • Building resilience
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Grief and loss
  • Managing stress
  • Improving self esteem

We offer:

Our aim is to improve your well-being and equip you with skills to manage your studies and life in general. As such, we don’t offer long-term treatment for mental health issues. If this is something you might need, we can point you in the direction of appropriate treatment services.

If you are not sure if we can help, you can come and see us anyway to talk it over.
