Want to engage with our students?
The team at Murdoch University Careers and Employment Centre are committed to preparing our students for the transition from academic study to the workforce. To achieve this, we recognise that strong industry connections and the provision of quality career development programs are essential for work-ready graduates and employers who engage with our graduates in the workforce.
CareerConnect is a complimentary service for employers.
Employers who are registered on CareerConnect are able to:
- Create a company profile.
- Add /edit vacancies directly on CareerConnect for students and graduates to search
- Request to have events you are offering posted for students and recent graduates via CareerConnect.
Please note: All items you add to CareerConnect will be subject to approval by the Careers and Employment Centre subject to our terms and conditions.
ii) Targeted Mail-out Service to Students
A direct mail-out service (either by post or email) to specific students is a cost effective way of reaching quality candidates for any opportunities employers or related organisations may be offering.
iii) On-Campus Presentations and Networking Events
Employers are welcome to contact us to arrange on-campus presentations at our South Street or Peel campuses. For presentations, we will arrange a suitable venue to cater for the expected number of attendees and we can also promote the presentation through CareerConnect or via posters and flyers around campus.
We also host a number of annual networking events that we welcome industry to attend. These include but are not restricted to:
- Careers Week (annual March event)
- Nursing Expo (annual May event)
- Access Experience Fair (scheduled for August 3, 2016)
As the teaching timetable gets tighter each year, and venues harder to find, we would appreciate as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment. Please contact us to register your interest or to discuss on-campus presentations or events.
