Introduction to Facilitated Learning

This program is designed to provide participants with the basic skills required to effectively deliver adult learning programs in a facilitated manner. Traditional training methodologies emphasise the role in learning of the ability of the presenter to deliver a meaningful and stimulating message. The facilitated learning model emphasises the responsibility of the participant in the learning experience.

The catchcry of the staff retention effort in contemporary business is “employee engagement.” Engagement is a core element in building long-term sustainability in business in which people add value through discretionary effort. Central to enabling engagement is the continued development of people at work; in the areas of both technical and people skills.
