BA Law; Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors; Fellow of the Royal Society for the Arts.

Tim has more than 25 year’s Business School experience having been Director of Entrepreneurship and Business Development at both Durham University Business School in the United Kingdom and Curtin Business School in Western Australia. Despite his Business School affiliation, Tim considers himself to be a practitioner rather than an academic with his true passion being the desire to help organisations to realise their full potential and achieve sustainable and profitable growth.

After graduating in law, Tim became the Director of a highly successful Regional Development Agency based in the North-East of England and, also, was instrumental in the launch and early management of a Venture Capital Company that invested in new ventures.

He is a pioneer of the ‘Financial Dynamics’ methodology and has taught financial management and control to business operators and key managers in more than 40 different countries; and is co-author of two books: ‘Making the Most of Your Business’ and ‘Keeping a Finger on the Financial Pulse of Your Business’.

During the period 2001 to 2006, Tim was Chairman of the Western Australian Small Business Development Corporation. Currently, he serves as a non-executive director to a small portfolio of businesses and manages his own international consulting business – Business Dynamics.
