Kim Lisson

Master in Leadership & Management (partial), Curtin University (1997)
Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Sociology, Australian National University (1990)

He centres his expertise strongly around partnering with clients to design robust corporate transformation initiatives that elicit real and lasting shifts for individual leaders, and genuine innovation and change in business practices.

Since 2006 the heart of Kim’ work has been on supporting individuals and teams who are committed to making their communities and organisations more sustainable and life-giving. This has primarily involved; personal coaching support for executives, leaders and change agents, and designing and facilitating action-learning programs with a strong ‘leadership for sustainability’ motif. Core to all his methodologies is a focus on (simultaneously) building ‘generative’ mindsets and cultures, and viable systems and structures to support their ongoing life.

Michael Prince

Bachelor of Arts (Hons), University of Western Australia (1975)
Master of Arts (Interdisciplinary), Regent College, Van¬couver (1982)
GAICD (Graduate Australian Institute of Company Directors) (2007)

Michael Prince is a founding Director of The Winding Staircase (TWS) Pty Ltd, and specialises in leadership coaching, coach training and action-learning based leadership development services. TWS supports its clients to integrate the “outer work” of organisational issues (improving performance, results, systems, strategies, managing change) and the “inner work” of work/life balance, issues of purpose, identity, values and relationships. Along with fellow Director, Kim Lisson, Michael established WA’s first professionally accredited coach-training enterprise — Coach School — and its 3 month Certificate and 18 month Diploma programs.

Michael brings 30 years’ experience working with leaders in Australia, Asia and the Pacific as a manager, consultant, action-learning program designer, facilitator and coach, in different sectors (small to large, business, government, not-for-profit) with a particular passion for working in developing countries and regional Australia. Michael has served as a non-Executive Director on the Board of World Vision Australia (2006-2012) and he has recently developed a strong interest in nurturing leadership across the political domain in Australia.

Michael is focused on supporting “leaders to lead with greater integrity of character and relationships and to lead with greater rigour and clarity of thought”. He works in ways that are intensely practical and deep; that treat people with dignity, compassion and respect as human beings, not as things that need managing, controlling or fixing.
